Return Policy
All returns must be accompanied by a receipt.
Textbooks purchased before the add/drop date of a semester can returned within seven days of the purchase date. Books purchased after the add/drop date are NOT returnable.
Opened shrink wrapped books / access codes are not returnable.
All non-textbook items may be returned within 30 days of purchase for an original method of payment refund, and up to 90 days for store credit.
Clearance items and gift cards cannot be returned / exchanged. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash.
Please note that we will only refund shipping if your return was a result of our error. If you would like to return an item in exchange for another item, please include a copy of the original invoice along with a note indicating the item(s) you would like receive. Be sure to include any applicable colors and sizes. If for any reason we are unable to fulfill this request, the original credit card will be credited.

Order Processing
Most orders are processed and shipped within two business days, excluding holidays and weekends. If you choose an express shipping method, please keep this processing time in mind. If you need your order sent out immediately, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
We make every attempt not to list out-of-stock items. If your order contains an item which is out of stock, your credit card will be charged only for the items sent.
In the event of a credit card problem, we will email you immediately to inform you of the situation. We will then wait up to 5 business days for your response and then email you once more before canceling the order.
Eight weeks prior to a semester starting, we receive book shipments daily, so if something is not in stock now, check back. If you have any questions about a book's availability, send your questions to bookstore@lec.edu .
Select IN STORE PICK as your shipping method at check-out, and we will bag and hold your order until you can make it to campus to pick it up.
Unfortunately financial aid (aka book vouchers) cannot be applied to web orders at this time, as the LEC web store only accepts credit cards and Storm Dollars. Students wishing to use financial aid must visit the store in person OR email a copy of your schedule to bookstore@lec.edu and we will process your books at the store register, if you have the funds available. When using Storm Dollars as a webstore payment method, you must have enough on your account to cover your grand total. Unfortunately at the time you cannot combine Storm Dollars and a credit card on the same transaction (Storm Dollars and credit cards can be combined on one transaction when making a purchase at the campus store in the Holden Center). Storm Dollars cannot be used to purchase a gift card, either online or in-person at the campus Holden Center bookstore. Storm Dollars rollover from the Fall to Spring semester; Storm Dollars expire on the last day of the Spring semester, they do not carry over to summer or the next school year.
Please allow us 24 hours to process orders for in-store pickup for orders placed Monday through Thursday. Orders placed Friday through Sunday will be available on Monday after 12:00 pm.
